Wine tastings
Tuscany is famous worldwide for the production of top-quality wines. At Viesca, our sommeliers will guide you through our selection of prestigious labels, which includes also a few wines produced at Il Borro. In addition, our Executive Chef Andrea Campani has designed food tastings to enhance the characteristics of each wine.
Cooking lessons
This is a must in your journey through the flavors and excellences of Tuscan cuisine. Our chefs will follow you step by step, sharing the secrets of the Tuscan traditions, including some recipes made with local and seasonal products.
Horse riding activities
Those who love (or simply would love to try) horse riding will be able to take lessons with one of our trusted suppliers, the Equiplanet Equestrian Club. The horses available are suitable for any level, from experts to beginners. Upon request, the guides will take you on tours to discover the beautiful surrounding countryside.
Tennis
At Viesca it’s always time for a game! The two tennis courts of the Estate are available to guests, who will be able to play right in the heart of the peaceful and lush Tuscan countryside. Rackets and tennis balls are available at reception, where guests may also book private lessons.
Yoga
Relax and wellness at Il Borro, one of Tuscany’s most unspoilt and natural settings and an ideal place to practice yoga. Less stress and more balance between body and mind through authentic, guided rituals. Thanks to the precious collaboration with Debra Kochanczyk of The Omage, a Yoga and Wellness Instructor based at Viesca, we can design personalized programmes that include yoga lessons, breathing exercises and guided meditation in one of Tuscany’s unspoilt natural corners.
Cycling & trekking
Mountain biking is a great way to explore the wonderful Tuscan countryside: dirt roads, winding paths, woods, rolling hills, panoramic plains and much more. There are also walking trails, a great way to discover the area around Viesca, with its characteristic vines and olive trees, as well as the typical hues and scents of the Tuscan countryside.

A day in an authentic and enchanting medieval village, while playing various sports (even golf), relaxing at the spa, or enjoying a pleasant evening at the Osteria del Borro gourmet restaurant.
