At Viesca Toscana, a splendid estate in the Florentine countryside, purchased in 1952 by Salvatore and Wanda Ferragamo, the fourth edition of WIF-Womenin food, the forum organized by COOK and Corriere della Sera to celebrate female talent in the world of food, wine and hospitality, directed by Angela Frenda, has just concluded.
An exclusive Event, consisting of two days full of meetings and talks, which brought together 50 Italian and international female professionals from the gastronomic world who are able to create successful careers, making the sector an engine forwomen’s empowerment.
The forum began with a welcome luncheon in the presence of hosts Vittoria and Salvatore Ferragamo, who later led a special tasting of the most renowned organic labels, such as Bolle di Borro 2017, Lamelle 2023, Il Borro 2020.
The event continued with a gala dinner signed by Andrea Campani, Executive Chef of Viesca and de Il Borro who delighted guests with a true farm-to-table experience.
The following day space for numerous experiences, grand finale with dinner curated by master pizza maker Franco Pepe and dessert provided by star chef Viviana Varese.
