Organic farming, self-production of energy from renewable sources and circular economy are at the heart of the Estate’s projects.
Borro ‘s commitment to sustainability finds concrete expression in the way its products are grown and produced: a Il Borro land is cultivated according to the principles of organic farming, respecting the rhythms of nature and in a way that reduces the use of chemicals as much as possible, replacing them with natural practices.
Il Borro then adopted a series of measures to ensure sustainability in the cultivation of vineyards as well, contributing to the preservation of biodiversity and the creation of a balanced ecosystem.
Respect for the environment and nature is also manifested through the company’s care in ensuring ethical treatment of the animals living on the Estate, as well as the use of renewable energy, the construction of energy-efficient facilities and the use of water reuse systems.
